Oppo unveils rebranded OnePlus Pad Go as the new Pad Air2 tablet

Oppo recently unveiled the Pad Air2 tablet at an event in China, where the focus was on the company’s new flagship smartphones, the Reno11 and Reno11 Pro. While details about the tablet were scarce at the event, the official page for the Pad Air2 provides a wealth of information including technical specifications, price, and availability.

The new Pad Air2 tablet from Oppo appears to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Pad Go, specifically tailored for the Chinese market. The tablet is set to be released over the weekend, but is currently available for preorder at prices ranging from $180 to $240.

Featuring a large 11.4-inch LCD display with 2408 x 1720 pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, this affordable Android tablet is powered by a large 8,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The tablet also boasts Dolby Atmos sound with four speakers and is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity only, lacking cellular support.

Available in different memory configurations including 6/128GB, 8/128GB, and 8/256GB, the Pad Air2 is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset or a similar alternative, if it is indeed a rebranded OnePlus Pad Go. Additionally, the tablet offers stylus support, as well as an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Oppo states that the Pad Air2 will come with ColorOS 13, based on Android 13.
