Next year’s maxed-out flagship could receive its batteries from a company called Navitasys India and according to documents cited by SamMobile, Navitasys India is to supply them for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Although no mentions in the documents are found about the Galaxy S24 and its bigger brother, the Galaxy S24+, it isn’t certain that the batteries used in those “lesser” flagships won’t come from Navitasys India as well.

The other companies to supply Samsung with batteries for their upcoming flagship trio are Samsung SDI Vietnam, China’s Ningde Amperex Technology Limited, and ELENTEC India.

So, if any problems with the Galaxy S24’s availability occur next year, they just can’t be due to a shortage of batteries. Right?

As we’ve discussed before, the Galaxy S24 line could arrive in mid-January of 2024: slightly earlier than the expected announcement in February. A January official announcement is nothing new for Samsung, with the Galaxy S21 Ultra being announced on January 14, 2021, and released globally on January 29, 2021.

Speaking of batteries and diverse battery suppliers, back in 2022, it became known that Samsung won’t be relying solely on their own SDI batteries for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Samsung was said to get the batteries for the foldables from three battery vendors – with the other two being LG and ATL. ATL is one of the largest battery makers for consumer electronics and is an Apple iPhone supplier, too.
