Samsung Revives ‘Since Last Charge’ Battery Tracking Feature: A Game-Changer for Telecommunications Users in Canada!

Samsung has made a welcome change to its battery tracking feature with the latest Device Care update. Last year’s release of One UI 6 saw the removal of the “since last charge” stat, causing some controversy among users. However, with the new update (13.8.6.11), Samsung is bringing back this beloved feature, much to the delight of many.

The updated view now includes a breakdown of screen-on time, app power consumption, and an estimate of when you’ll need to recharge your device. This allows users to have a more comprehensive analysis of their battery usage, alongside the existing 24-hour “Today” view that was introduced earlier.

For those enrolled in Samsung Care Plus plans, this new feature will be particularly useful. The plans now offer unlimited battery replacements for devices that fall below 79% battery health. While there is a slight price increase of $2 USD for this added perk, having more options to maintain your device in top condition is always beneficial.

Although the update is not yet available on the Galaxy Store, it can be found in APK form and should be widely accessible soon. This update aligns with the ongoing rollout of One UI 6.1 for older Galaxy devices such as Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development from Samsung!
