Samsung has announced that the popular Galaxy Enhance-X app, which relies on AI for image retouching, is now available for even older Galaxy A series phones. The app is now compatible with the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A34, provided that the phones have already been updated to Android 14 and One UI 6.
Previously, the Galaxy A54 was the first to receive support for Galaxy Enhance-X, and now the Galaxy A34 has been added to the list of eligible devices. Users in some markets with the Galaxy A34 running Android 14 can now download the AI image editor app from the Galaxy Store.
Additionally, the Galaxy A53 can also download and use Galaxy Enhance-X, despite Samsung not officially confirming that 2022’s Galaxy A smartphones would be eligible. It is assumed that the Galaxy A33 will also support Galaxy Enhance-X once it receives the One UI 6 update, but this has not been confirmed as the device is currently running Android 13/One UI 5.
As for what Galaxy Enhance-X can do, it is powered by AI and offers one-tap image enhancement as well as the ability to adjust specific features such as HDR. The app offers a range of tools for photo customization, including the ability to boost the resolution of compressed images for clearer detail.
Overall, Samsung may make Galaxy Enhance-X available for other A series phones, so users can check the Galaxy Store once their device has been updated to Android 14.
