Pixel 7 to Receive Language Detection Feature for Voice Typing

According to a recent report by Android Police, this language detection feature will soon be available on the Pixel 7 as well.
Language Detection Feature for Pixel 7 Phones

The page mentions that the language detection functionality will be introduced to the Pixel 7 series, which is Google’s flagship line from 2022. This feature utilizes Google Assistant for voice typing on Gboard. While the Pixel 7 already offers advancements for multilingual users and voice typing by supporting additional languages, the Pixel 8 takes it a step further. With the Pixel 8, users can freely speak in any enabled language, and the device will accurately process and type out the dictation in multiple languages.
The updated support page states that the language detection feature will be available on the Pixel 7 “soon.” However, there is no specific release date provided, so it could be a matter of weeks or even months.
