Google Photos for Android has introduced a new feature that allows users to select a “favorite person” to easily share photos with. This feature is a game-changer for those who frequently share photos with the same individual. Here’s how you can set it up:
– Open the Google Photos app on your Android phone
– Tap on the Library tab at the bottom of the screen
– Go to Utilities > Add favorite shortcut
– Follow the prompts to select your favorite person
– When you long press on an image, your “favorite person” will appear first on the share sheet
This feature is not only convenient but also easy to set up. If you have someone special that you regularly share photos with, this feature will save you time and effort.
It’s important to note that you can only have one “favorite person” at a time. However, you can easily change this person by tapping on your profile icon and navigating to Photos Settings > Sharing > Quick share. From there, click on the Remove shortcut link at the bottom of the screen.
Currently, this feature is available on Google Photos 6.76 for Android devices. It has not yet been rolled out for iOS, so iOS users may have to wait for its arrival.
If you have access to this feature on your version of Google Photos, take advantage of it to streamline your photo-sharing process with your favorite individual. Setting it up takes only a few moments but can save you significant time in the long run.
