Last week, both Public Mobile and Fido announced that select promotional plans would end on July 8th, hinting at the arrival of new plans. Following Public Mobile’s lead in adjusting their plans, Fido has also made changes to their offerings by increasing prices.
Here are the updated Fido plan details (prices listed after autopay discounts):
– $39 for 20GB (previously $34, now a $5 increase)
– $44 for 40GB (previously $39, now a $5 increase)
– $49 for 50GB (previously $44, now a $5 increase)
– $54 for 60GB (previously $49, now a $5 increase)
For a limited time, Fido is offering the 50GB plan at $44/month “for 24 months”, which includes an additional $5/month credit.
In recent news, Koodo raised the price of visual voicemail to $8/month, while Bell informed certain customers of a $6/month plan increase. Following Virgin Plus and Koodo’s lead, Fido has now adjusted their prices as well.
