Stay Connected with Uber’s New Shuttle Service: Never Miss a Show Again!

Uber recently hosted its annual GO-GET event, where they unveiled exciting new features set to enhance the rideshare app experience. A significant focus of the updates is on shuttles and expanded ridesharing options, with the introduction of a new feature called Uber Shuttle stealing the spotlight.

**New ways to share a ride**

– Uber Shuttle allows users to book up to five seats up to seven days ahead for rides to and from major events like concerts, basketball games, and trips to the airport.
– This feature is budget-friendly, with each rider paying a fraction of the price compared to an UberX ride.
– The company emphasizes that these rides won’t be subject to surge pricing.
– It’s important to note that these shuttles are exclusively for events listed in the app.

But GO-GET wasn’t just about shuttles; Uber also introduced Uber Caregiver. This feature enables users to arrange rides for their loved ones to medical appointments and beyond. Eventually, it will extend to tasks like grocery deliveries and bringing over-the-counter meds right to your doorstep.

During the event, Uber also announced UberX Share, their replacement for Uber Pool introduced back in 2023. This new feature allows users to schedule shared rides in advance, helping them save money – on average, riders should expect around 25% savings per ride compared to a regular trip with UberX.

Uber pointed out that UberX Share is ideal for commutes, especially with a recent increase in rides during traditional commuting hours. The company plans on launching this offering in cities with high rates of employees returning to the office initially, such as Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, San Diego, and San Francisco. More locations are set to follow soon.

On top of these exciting updates, Uber Eats is also getting some enhancements. The platform now includes Costco in its retail delivery offerings. Additionally, Uber Eats Lists introduces a new way for users to discover where and what they want to eat by browsing restaurant recommendations from friends and local foodies.

All these fantastic features will be rolling out over the next few months across various cities in the US. Stay tuned for more announcements regarding availability!
