Taylor Swift’s Epic Concert Film Exclusively on Disney+: A Must-See for Telecommunications Fans

Disney+ experienced a loss of 1.3 million subscribers following a price increase in its fiscal first quarter of 2024. To counter this, Disney+ has announced a new addition to its streaming platform that it hopes will attract more subscribers than it lost last quarter. On March 15th, Disney+ will exclusively host the streaming debut of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version), which is the complete concert film featuring the song “cardigan” along with four additional acoustic songs.

Directed by Sam Wrench, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour is the top-selling concert film of all time, grossing over $260 million worldwide at the global box office. Disney CEO Bob Iger expressed excitement about this announcement, stating, “The Eras Tour has been a true phenomenon that continues to thrill fans around the world, and we are very excited to bring this electrifying concert to audiences wherever they are, exclusively through Disney+.”

Disney+ offers various subscription options starting at $7.99 per month for ad-supported content and $13.99 per month (or $139.99 per year) for ad-free viewing and offline content downloads. Additionally, bundle options involving Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ are available.

Despite a decrease in subscribers from 112.6 million to 111.3 million during the fiscal first quarter, Disney+ reduced losses in its streaming unit by $300 million. The company anticipates its streaming business to become profitable during the fiscal fourth quarter of this year.

On a different note, Taylor Swift recently announced that her next album titled “The Tortured Poets Department” will be released on April 19th. Furthermore, she is set to fly from Japan after her concerts at Tokyo Dome to Las Vegas in time for her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl game against the San Francisco 49ers.
