The Estimated Price of Samsung’s Long-Awaited Galaxy S23 FE in a Major Market

Samsung’s upcoming product announcement events have been much anticipated by mobile enthusiasts worldwide. However, if you’re a dedicated Samsung fan, you’ll be pleased to know that the company has some exciting plans in store for the future. While it’s uncertain if Samsung will host another Unpacked launch party this year, several “Fan Editions” of popular devices are on the horizon. One of the most highly anticipated devices is the Galaxy S23 FE, which is expected to be an affordable yet high-end smartphone.

Previously, there was limited information regarding the device’s affordability. However, leaker Abhishek Yadav has shed some light on the matter. According to Yadav, the Galaxy S23 FE may be priced at $899 for the 128GB storage variant and $999 for the 256GB storage variant. These prices make the S23 FE significantly cheaper than the regular Galaxy S23, which usually starts at $799.99.

Although the S23 FE would be more affordable compared to the regular S23, it might be more expensive than its predecessor, the Galaxy S21 FE. This could make it difficult for the S23 FE to claim the title of the best budget 5G phone. For example, the OnePlus 11R boasts an official price of just 45,000 rupees with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the Motorola Edge 40 starts at a mere 35,000 rupees.

As for its availability in the US, pricing details are yet to be confirmed. However, considering the S23 is regularly priced at $800 and up, it’s unlikely that Samsung would price the S23 FE near those marks. Instead, we anticipate it to be priced around $600, aligning it with the S21 FE. It’s worth noting that if Samsung decides to release the upcoming device with different processors in different regions, such as a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the US and an Exynos 2200 in India, it could complicate matters.

Both the Galaxy S23 FE and the S21 FE are expected to feature a 6.4-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED display and a triple rear camera setup with 50, 8, and 12MP sensors. Additionally, the S23 FE is rumored to sport a 4,500mAh battery with 25W charging capabilities. In terms of design, it appears that Samsung will draw inspiration from this year’s Galaxy A54 mid-ranger.

While a commercial release can be expected this month, details about the formal announcement preceding the launch are yet to be revealed. Stay tuned for more updates on the Galaxy S23 FE from Phones Canada.
