The Galaxy S24 Ultra’s (Glare-Free) Feature is Irresistibly Appealing and Generating Buzz

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is packed with impressive features, including the latest Snapdragon chipset, a 5x camera that doubles as a 10x optical zoom quality shooter, a titanium frame, and sleek design, a bright display with 2,600 nits of peak brightness, 4k@120fps video recording capabilities, and AI tricks. However, the $100 price hike, bringing the starting price to $1,299, has many consumers feeling uneasy.

One outstanding feature is the Gorilla Glass Armor, which has been getting a lot of attention. It has been reported that the glass is a “game-changer for anti-reflective displays,” providing a glare-free viewing experience, which is especially noticeable in direct sunlight. The new display is not only brighter but also significantly improves the anti-reflective properties. According to Samsung and Corning, the new Gorilla Glass Armor panel cuts back on up to 75% reflection compared to competitive glass-based screen protection panels.

Many tech insiders have praised the new glass, including well-known X/Twitter tipsters Daniel Scuteri and Ice Universe. Daniel Scuteri noted that the coating on the S24 Ultra reduced glare by 75%, pointing out the evident difference compared to the S23 Ultra. Meanwhile, Ahmed Qwaider stated that “Samsung has outdone itself on this point,” showing the enthusiasm surrounding the improved display of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
