The iPhone 16 Pro: Solving the Biggest Issue of the Nearly Perfect iPhone 15 Pro Max

In 2019, Apple introduced the Max iPhone, which quickly became a fan-favorite. The iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro Max are the best-selling iPhone models after launch, and it’s easy to see why – the iPhone 15 Pro is already expensive, so paying extra for a larger display and longer battery life is a no-brainer for many.

However, operating the phone with one hand can be a challenge. The state of iOS was never really optimized for one-hand use on larger phones, making it difficult to reach certain buttons and perform common gestures. The only benefits of the larger iPhone are the easier two-hand typing and better content viewing experience.

Despite Apple’s efforts to make the iPhone 15 Pro series feel smaller, nothing makes a phone feel smaller than an actually smaller phone. This is why waiting for the iPhone 16 Pro might be a better option for users who find the iPhone 15 Pro Max unmanageable.

The promise of the larger iPhone 16 Pro models gives a solid reason to skip the otherwise nearly perfect iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. Plus, the rumored presence of the 5x optical zoom camera and potentially improved battery life make the iPhone 16 Pro an appealing option.

Overall, if you find the iPhone 15 Pro Max too large or the iPhone 15 Pro too small, waiting for the iPhone 16 Pro might be worth it. The hope is that Apple will prepare meaningful iOS upgrades that make the new, larger iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max more usable with one hand – a challenge that many users currently face.
