There are no plans for a mid-range phone called Nothing Phone 2a in the works, despite rumors.

It appears that Nothing is working on expanding its lineup with a mid-range handset called the Nothing Phone 2a. This would be the company’s second smartphone, following the recent release of the Nothing Phone (2). According to a Twitter leaker, the Nothing Phone 2a will feature a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a hole-punch front-facing camera. The leaker also posted a blurry picture that shows the phone’s back side, revealing a dual-camera setup and transparent back panel. Unfortunately, details in the picture are barely visible. It’s important to note that this is not the anticipated Nothing Phone (3), but a more affordable model to be launched under Nothing’s CMF brand. Although the leaker claims to have seen the phone in real-life, it’s advisable to take the report with a grain of salt until we have more information about Nothing’s mid-range device. Stay tuned for more updates.
