Threads, the popular social app, has seen a decrease in the number of users since its official introduction by Meta. However, the app has been continuously improved with new features being added almost every week. If you are still using Threads, you can expect frequent updates and improvements.
While some of these new features may seem insignificant, they are essential for enhancing the functionality and user experience of any social app. Unfortunately, Threads has been lacking these basic features, causing many users to abandon the app in favor of its competitors.
Recently, Threads introduced a highly anticipated feature: the ability to switch between multiple profiles. This new feature is now available on the mobile version of the app, as confirmed by the official Threads account.
To switch between profiles on Threads, simply tap the profile tab to access the menu displaying the list of your profiles. From there, you can select the desired profile to switch to. Additionally, you can tap “Add profile” to add another profile or log in with a different Instagram account. Threads securely stores your account credentials, allowing you to easily switch between profiles.
Following the launch of the web version of Threads two weeks ago, the app is expected to roll out a highly anticipated feature that many apps, like X (formerly Twitter), restrict behind a paywall: the ability to edit posts.
While no estimated time of arrival (ETA) has been announced for this feature, it is likely to entice users to return to Threads.
