Unlock the Power of Pixel: Quickly Identify Unknown Numbers in Your Call Log

Are you tired of receiving mysterious and spammy calls on your Google Pixel phone? Well, Google is working on a solution just for you. The new feature called “Lookup” is currently in the testing phase and aims to help you identify unknown numbers with ease.

Here’s how Lookup works:

– Simply go to your recent calls and tap on the unknown number.
– Look for the “Lookup” option on the right side and tap on it.
– Choose your preferred search app (like Google Search) to search for information about the unknown number.

Please note that Lookup may not reveal the identity of every random caller. It is more useful for identifying businesses or flagging suspicious numbers found on scam alert websites. While it may not fully replace caller ID apps like Truecaller, it can still be a handy tool in your arsenal.

As of now, there is no official release date for Lookup on all Pixel phones. It is currently being tested in beta versions of Google’s Phone app, so we may have to wait until the next feature drop or even Android 15 release this fall to see it in action.

In the meantime, remember to be cautious when dealing with unknown callers, whether you have a lookup tool or not. Stay safe and stay informed with Lookup by your side!
