WhatsApp is introducing a new level of customization with the latest update, making it easier for users to personalize their stickers before sending them in conversations. Previously, stickers could only be created by adding pictures from the gallery into the app, but the new update allows for additional customization options.
According to The Verge, WhatsApp is now rolling out an update on iOS that lets users add text, another sticker, or even draw on top of a sticker, taking the customization of stickers to a whole new level. The process for creating stickers remains the same, but now users can add various media content on top of the image chosen from the gallery. This new feature is only available on devices running at least iOS 17, with no word on when it will be available for Android users. However, it is likely that WhatsApp will bring this feature to the Android platform in the near future.
