Phones Canada is excited to announce that Xiaomi has just released a new list of devices that are eligible to receive the HyperOS update. This update will replace the now-discontinued MIUI, although some people believe that HyperOS is very similar to MIUI and is not an entirely new operating system.
Xiaomi has expanded the list of devices that will receive the HyperOS update, from a mere eight devices to an impressive 80 devices. This brings the total number of devices eligible for the update to 88. The rollout for these devices is expected to take place between January and June 2024, with specific dates varying for each device as the update will be rolled out in waves.
The list of devices includes popular models such as the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, Redmi K50 Gaming, and Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro. The list of Xiaomi and Redmi devices slated to receive the HyperOS update is extensive, including a variety of models from both brands.
Xiaomi has also announced a global HyperOS rollout plan, starting in Q1 2024, which will include devices such as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, the Xiaomi 13, the Xiaomi 13T Pro, the Xiaomi 13T, the Redmi Note 12, the Redmi Note 12S, and the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet.
Overall, this update will bring exciting changes to a wide range of Xiaomi and Redmi devices, and we can’t wait to see the new features that HyperOS will bring to these smartphones and tablets. Stay tuned for more updates on the HyperOS rollout from Xiaomi.
