The text message from Public Mobile reads: “Public Mobile here. To thank you for being a loyal subscriber, we added an extra 1GB of data to your account for free. You don’t have to do anything – other than enjoy the extra data that is. We’ve already added the free data to your account which will expire in 30 days. Thank you for choosing Public Mobile.”
It’s worth noting that some customers on lower-priced plans, such as $15 or $25, have reported receiving the bonus, as well as those on higher-tier plans like the $24/4GB option. However, there is some disappointment over the 30-day expiry on the bonus data, as previous data bonuses did not come with an expiration date and would roll over until used up.
In related news, it’s important to mention that Public Mobile did not offer its traditional annual holiday freebie for customers in 2023.
