Our Commitment
Phones Canada conducts business honestly and without corrupt practices in every market we trade in. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption in any form.
This policy applies to every employee, officer, contractor, agent and partner acting on behalf of Phones Canada.
Scope & Applicable Law
We comply with the Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act (Canada), the Criminal Code, the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act where applicable, plus all local anti-corruption laws in the countries we ship to.
Prohibited Conduct
Offering, promising, giving, requesting or accepting anything of value to improperly influence a business decision, secure an unfair advantage, or induce a public official to act improperly is strictly prohibited.
Gifts & Hospitality
Modest, transparent business hospitality is permitted where it is reasonable, proportionate, properly recorded, and never offered to influence a decision. Cash or cash-equivalent gifts are never acceptable.
Facilitation Payments
Facilitation payments, small unofficial payments to speed routine actions such as customs clearance, are prohibited, without exception, even where locally customary.
Third Parties & Due Diligence
Freight forwarders, brokers, agents and resellers acting for Phones Canada are screened before engagement and are expected to meet the same standard. Contracts include anti-corruption obligations.
Records & Controls
All payments, discounts, credits and expenses are recorded accurately in our books. Off-book accounts, false invoicing and misleading documentation are prohibited.
Reporting & Non-Retaliation
Suspected breaches should be reported to info@phonescanada.com. Reports are treated confidentially, and we do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
