Samsung Galaxy S24 Sales Surpass Expectations, Dominating the Telecommunications Market

Samsung is exceeding expectations in its smartphone division, with the production of Galaxy handsets surpassing forecasts set by its Mobile eXperience (MX) department. Industry sources reveal that suppliers have been asked to deliver parts for nearly 50 million handsets by the quarter’s end.

The boost in production follows a remarkable 22% increase in orders during the first quarter, exceeding Samsung’s initial projections. This surge indicates a potential 17% rise in sales for the company in the first half of the year.

The success of Samsung’s phone division can be attributed to the AI-driven features on the Galaxy S24 models, which are being heavily promoted, along with growing sales of lower-tier phones in markets like India.

While some industry experts believe Samsung’s momentum may slow down, others see hope on the horizon with the upcoming release of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in the third quarter. These new models are expected to compete directly with high-spec competitors from China, potentially driving further sales for Samsung in the latter half of the year.
