– D94 – iPhone 16 Pro Max
Of particular interest is that all four phones are listed with the same SoC internal code of t8140 – Tahiti, known internally at Apple as the A18. This suggests that all four iPhone 16 models could potentially use the same general chipset.
As for the speculated A18 branding and A18 Pro inside the iPhone 16 models, both will be built using TSMC’s advanced N3E node, resulting in improvements in performance and energy efficiency. While there is a possibility that the A18 will power the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, and the A18 Pro will drive the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, it is still too early to confirm.
