Enhance Your Phone Chats with Google’s Fun Emoji Feature!

Google is adding a fun new feature to its Phone app called “Audio Emoji,” allowing users to bring a playful touch to their phone conversations with sound effects. This exciting addition is set to roll out widely in the next few weeks after appearing in the beta version of the Google Phone app (version 128).

Here’s how Audio Emoji works:

– During a call, choose from six emoji options including clapping, laughter, a party horn, crying, a poop emoji, or the classic “ba dum tss” sting.
– The Google Phone app will create a short animation and play a corresponding sound effect for both you and the person you’re talking to.

In the Phone app’s settings, Google explains that Audio Emojis can be used to express emotions and add some lightheartedness to your conversations. While it may seem silly, it’s definitely a unique way to personalize calls.

To access Audio Emoji, users can find a button for it in the overflow menu or use the chip that pops up on the main calling screen. Google also includes an option to turn off the feature if it becomes too distracting. Additionally, there is a slight delay between each sound effect to prevent overuse.

It will be interesting to see how Android users incorporate this new feature into their calls. And for those without it, hearing these effects go off during a conversation is sure to spark some entertaining remarks. Stay tuned for more fun updates from Google’s Phone app!
