Exciting News: Apple Set to Launch Calculator App on iPad and iPhone in Canada after 14 Years!

Exciting news for iPad users! Apple is set to introduce a long-awaited feature with the launch of a built-in Calculator app for the iPad in the upcoming iPadOS 18. This development, reported by MacRumors, comes over 14 years after the initial launch of the iPad, filling a significant gap in the device’s software offerings.

For years, iPad users have been relying on third-party calculator apps from the App Store, such as PCalc and Calcbot, as there was no official Calculator app from Apple. This omission has been a point of discussion and even humor on social media platforms.

Apple is expected to unveil iPadOS 18, along with its new Calculator app, at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) opening keynote on June 10. Following this event, developers will get access to the first beta version of iPadOS 18 for testing. The public release of the software update is anticipated in September.

In addition to the new iPad Calculator app, macOS 15 is also rumored to introduce a redesigned Calculator app with features like integration with the Notes app, a resizable window, and a sidebar displaying recent calculations. There are speculations that this Mac app may share similarities with the upcoming iPad Calculator app.

Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting developments from Apple!
