Exclusive Sneak Peek: CMF Phone (1) Unveils Key Features and Pricing Ahead of Launch!

Nothing’s sub-brand, CMF, is gearing up to release an affordable Android smartphone known as the CMF Phone (1). While an official launch date has not been announced yet, Nothing has hinted that it will be coming “soon.”

However, plans for a gradual teaser campaign have hit a snag as key specs and pricing details for the CMF Phone (1) have been leaked on Twitter. Despite being positioned as a more budget-friendly option compared to the Nothing Phone (2a), the CMF Phone (1) appears to offer solid mid-range features.

Key specs of the CMF Phone (1) include:
– 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate
– MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor
– 50MP + depth sensor rear camera setup
– 16MP front-facing camera
– In-display fingerprint sensor
– Variants with 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB storage options
– Expandable storage up to 2TB via microSD card
– 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support
– Running on Android 14

In terms of pricing, the leak suggests that the CMF Phone (1) will be available in India at Rs 15,999 ($190 / €180) for the 6/128GB model and Rs 17,999 ($215 / €200) for the 8/128GB variant. It’s important to note that these prices may include launch discounts which could impact final pricing.

Compared to its sibling, the Nothing Phone (2a), the CMF Phone (1) does miss out on certain features like Glyph lights and an ultra-wide camera. Additionally, it has a smaller front camera and supports slightly slower charging at 33W instead of 45W. However, it does boast an upgraded MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset compared to the older Dimensity 7200 found in the Nothing Phone (2).

Overall, the CMF Phone (1) presents an enticing option for users looking for a well-rounded smartphone experience at an affordable price point. Stay tuned for more updates as we await its official launch!
