OnePlus is rumored to be gearing up to introduce a new smartphone in its Nord N-series, following the launch of the OnePlus Nord N30 5G last year. The new device, expected to be called the OnePlus Nord N30 SE, has reportedly appeared on the Geekbench benchmark database.
The Geekbench listing suggests that the Nord N30 SE will be powered by an octa-core processor with a 2 + 6 core setup. The two heavy-duty cores are expected to run at 2.20GHz, while the six more efficient ones will run at 2.0GHz, indicating that the smartphone might be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor.
The MediaTek Dimensity 6020 is a mid-range 5G system-on-a-chip, known for its affordable price and strong performance. Smartphones featuring this processor typically start at around $200 or even less, making it likely that the upcoming OnePlus Nord N30 SE will be priced in this budget-friendly range.
The Geekbench listing also reveals that the Nord N30 SE is expected to come with 4GB of RAM, which is lower than the 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage space found in its predecessor, the Nord N30 5G.
Other details from the benchmark listing suggest that the Nord N30 SE will run on Android 13 out of the box and will be equipped with a 4880mAh battery with support for rapid 33W charging.
Overall, the OnePlus Nord N30 SE appears to be a promising option for budget-conscious users who are in search of a smartphone that can handle everyday tasks without breaking the bank.
