The Honor 90 GT has been officially announced and it is powered by the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The phone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1,200 x 2,664 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The 90 GT comes with up to 24GB of RAM depending on the configuration chosen by the buyer, with storage options ranging from 256GB to as much as 1TB. The phone also includes a rear camera array with a primary camera backed by a Sony IMX906 sensor and OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a front-facing 16MP selfie snapper. It also has a cutting-edge 3D vapor chamber cooling unit, MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 14, and a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging.
The Honor 90 GT will be available in Black, Blue, and Gold color options, and sales are expected to begin on December 26th from Honor’s website.
The pricing for the different versions of the phone are as follows:
– 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage: CNY 2,599 ($364)
– 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage: CNY 2,899 ($405)
– 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage: CNY 3,199 ($448)
– 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage: CNY 3,699 ($518)
Honor was previously a Huawei sub-brand, but became an independent phone manufacturer in 2020 after Huawei sold the unit to a consortium for over $15 billion due to U.S. sanctions.
