Verizon Enhances 5G Coverage at East Coast Beaches for Faster Connectivity

Summer is in full swing, and what better place to spend your days than at the beach? Verizon understands that beachgoers want to stay connected even while they soak up the sun and enjoy the waves. In fact, a recent survey conducted by Morning Consult revealed that a whopping 75 percent of beachgoers use their phones while at the beach.

To ensure that customers have reliable service at popular East Coast beaches, Verizon has made some exciting updates:

– 20 new small cells and 5G capacity have been added to 31 existing cell sites in Myrtle Beach.
– A new cell site has been added to expand 4G and 5G coverage, along with 5G capacity, to eight existing cell sites in Hilton Head.

Myrtle Beach:
– Highway 31
– Highway 17
– Garden City Beach coastline
– Myrtle Beach Airport
– Springmaid Pier
– Myrtle Beach Ocean Blvd.
– Myrtle Beach Highway 501
– North Myrtle Beach Middle School
– Myrtle Beach Elementary School

In addition to these locations, the upgrades also extend coverage to rural areas in Horry County and other parts of Conway, SC.

Hilton Head:
– Hilton Head Beachfront Resort
– Villamare Resort
– Disney’s Beach House
– George Fazio Golf Course
– Robert Trent Jones Oceanfront Golf Course
– Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center

The upgrades also improve coverage near South Beach, Hilton Head Preparatory School, and the Bluffton area.

With these enhancements, Verizon is ensuring that customers can stay connected and enjoy seamless service while basking in the sun at their favorite East Coast beaches.
