Expansion and Enhancement of T-Mobile’s 5G Network Coverage in Virginia

T-Mobile customers in Virginia are in for a treat as the company has announced an upgrade to its 5G service across the state. Covering an impressive 32,000 square miles, this expansion ensures that nearly 97 percent of Virginians will now have access to improved 5G network coverage.

From Fairfax and Fauquier to Prince William and Frederick, T-Mobile’s upgraded 5G service will reach customers in various cities and counties. Some of the notable locations include Loudoun, City of Chesapeake, Arlington, Montgomery, Chesterfield, Norfolk, Henrico, Newport News, Hanover, Bedford, Albemarle, Hampton, and many others. The aim is to bring enhanced 5G capabilities to users in all corners of the state.

To achieve this, T-Mobile has added over 900 new towers and upgraded more than 1,500 existing towers in Virginia since 2021. These infrastructure improvements not only expand the coverage area but also boost capacity and data speeds. And T-Mobile doesn’t plan to stop there. The company intends to continue adding new towers and upgrading existing ones throughout the year, further enhancing the 5G experience for its customers.

In addition to network upgrades, T-Mobile is actively investing in its retail presence across Virginia. With the opening of additional stores last year and planned openings in 2023, the carrier now boasts approximately 80 retail locations in the state. And the company has no plans to slow down in this regard. Customers can look forward to even more T-Mobile stores in Virginia by the end of the year and beyond.

T-Mobile’s commitment to expanding and improving its 5G network coverage in Virginia demonstrates its dedication to providing customers with the latest and greatest in wireless technology. So, if you’re a T-Mobile customer in the state, get ready to enjoy faster speeds, increased capacity, and a more seamless 5G experience.
