Nothing’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Phone (2a), is generating a lot of excitement, and for good reason. In a recent 10-minute video release, Nothing provided some insight into the thought process behind the Phone (2a), and it’s clear that the company is aiming to create something truly special for its community.
While we were hoping to catch a glimpse of the Phone (2a) in the video, Nothing is keeping things under wraps for now. The only detail revealed is that the official introduction of the Nothing Phone (2a) is scheduled for March 5th.
For US customers, getting their hands on the Nothing Phone (2a) will require enrolling in a “Developer Program” at launch. This process mirrors the one used for the launch of Phone (1) in the US, with one significant difference – it’s no longer referred to as “Beta Membership,” indicating that Nothing has likely resolved most issues with US network support.
In addition to this, Nothing hinted at the price point in the video without providing an exact figure. What we do know is that it will be more affordable than the initial $299 price tag of Phone (1) in the US.
With more than two weeks remaining until the official announcement, we anticipate Nothing will continue teasing additional details about the Phone (2a). It will be interesting to see if leaks will spoil Nothing’s hype campaign or if they can maintain anticipation until the very last moment. Stay tuned for updates!
