We’re excited to share that Apple has expanded its Self Service Repair program to include the entire iPhone 15 series, giving users more autonomy and transparency when it comes to troubleshooting and repairing their Apple devices. This program, which initially debuted in 2022, now covers 35 Apple products across 33 countries and is available in 24 languages.
In addition to the expansion of the program, Apple has also introduced a new diagnostic tool called Apple Diagnostics for Self Service Repair. This tool is currently live in the US and will be available in Europe next year, and it aims to give users the ability to test and troubleshoot their devices on par with Apple Authorized Service Providers and Independent Repair Providers.
The web-based diagnostic tool can assess a range of issues, including software integration, audio output, camera functionality, display, and Face ID. This tool will enable users to diagnose problems and be provided with a step-by-step repair process, empowering them to take control of repairing their Apple devices.
We’re thrilled to see Apple’s commitment to giving users increased transparency and troubleshooting autonomy through its Self Service Repair program and the introduction of the new Apple Diagnostics tool.
