Exciting News: Tesla FSD Free Trials Launch in Canada, Subscriptions Available in April • Phones Canada Blog

Discover the Latest Tesla Full Self-Driving (FSD) Capability Trials in Canada

Tesla has recently introduced free 1-month trials of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) capability in the U.S., extending this offer to both new and existing customers. This initiative aims to promote the use of FSD beta version 12, particularly the latest 12.3.x release, which leverages a single end-to-end neural network trained on millions of video clips.

Exciting news for Canadian Tesla owners – Tesla has now expanded the complimentary one-month FSD trials to Canada. Existing customers received emails notifying them of their trial period, running until April 28, 2024.

To access the trial, simply update your vehicle’s software as instructed by Tesla. The FSD feature enables your Tesla to navigate from point A to point B autonomously, controlling various functions such as acceleration, steering, and traffic signal recognition.

With FSD version 12.3.x, your Tesla can now perform U-turns, park in designated spots, and even depart from parking lots. While the system allows for semi-autonomous driving under supervision, it’s crucial to remain attentive and exercise caution at all times.

The FSD trial will conclude on April 28, 2024, coinciding with the launch of monthly subscription plans in Canada. Priced at $199 USD per month (approx. $269 CAD), this subscription option offers a more flexible alternative to purchasing FSD outright for $16,000 CAD.

Although full autonomy remains a work in progress for all automakers, Tesla’s FSD technology appears to be leading the pack based on impressive demonstrations like navigating city streets with ease and adapting to construction zones seamlessly.

Stay tuned for more updates on Tesla’s innovative Full Self-Driving capabilities as they continue to set new benchmarks in autonomous driving technology.
