Samsung’s highly awaited Galaxy S24 series clears IMDA certification in Singapore

Samsung is planning to launch its Galaxy S24 series next month and the rumors surrounding the new flagship phones are getting more exciting. Recently, it was revealed that the upcoming phones have received Singapore’s IMDA certification. The listing on the TLS website discloses that the Galaxy S24 model name is SB-S921B/DS and it will support 5G and NFC. However, no additional details have been revealed in the listing.

This is the latest official certification that the Samsung flagship phone series has received ahead of its anticipated early launch next year. The precise unveiling date for the Galaxy S24 lineup is still a mystery, with rumors pointing to an official launch date of January 18, 2024, and other speculating that it may be a day earlier on January 17.

Even though Samsung has not officially announced the launch date, it is expected that all three models in the series will run on Android 14 out of the box. There have also been leaked spec sheets for the entire lineup, giving us an idea of what to expect from the new devices.
