According to a recent study, it takes an average American 5.3 days of work to afford the new iPhone 15 Pro (128GB). The price of this model is $999, which is the same as last year’s iPhone 14 Pro. This calculation includes the New York sales tax of 8.875%. The study is based on the average wage in the United States, which is $61,900 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
The 5.3 days required to buy the iPhone 15 Pro is actually fewer than the 5.7 days needed to purchase the iPhone 14 Pro last year.
Interestingly, Switzerland tops the list as the country where it takes the least amount of work to afford the iPhone 15 Pro. In Switzerland, it only takes 4.2 days of work to purchase the device. The country with the most number of days required to afford the iPhone 15 Pro is Turkey with 123.7, followed by the Philippines with 79.5 days.

While Apple has maintained the same prices for the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15 Pro, the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max has been increased by $100 to $1,199. However, the base model of the iPhone 15 Pro Max now comes with 256GB of storage instead of 128GB. Therefore, if you consider the price based on the storage capacity, Apple has maintained the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max at the same level as last year’s iPhone 14 Pro Max.
