Rogers Boosts Rewards and Benefits for World Elite Mastercard Holders
Rogers has exciting news for its World Elite Mastercard holders! Starting on April 9, 2024, the company will be enhancing cash back rewards and adding extra benefits for Rogers, Fido, and Shaw customers. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Increased Cash Back Rewards: Customers subscribed to at least one qualifying service from Rogers, Fido or Shaw will enjoy a boost in cash back rewards from 1.5% to 2% on all eligible purchases.
Eligible Services Include:
– Any postpaid Rogers-branded consumer mobile plan (including wireless home phone and tablet data plans)
– Any postpaid Fido-branded consumer mobile plan (including wireless home phone and tablet data plans)
– Any Rogers, Shaw or Fido-branded internet, TV, home phone, home monitoring or satellite plan.
Enhanced Redemption Value: The redemption value for cash back on Rogers, Fido, and Shaw purchases will increase to 1.5 times the regular rate. This means you’ll get 3% cash back value when used towards bills or new devices.
No Minimum Spend Requirement: Rogers has removed the previous $15,000 annual minimum spend requirement for cardholders.
Free Roam Like Home Days: Cardholders will now receive five Roam Like Home days annually at no cost for travellers. This perk is exclusive to Rogers customers and is not available to Fido, chatr or Shaw plans.
Account Eligibility: These updates apply to primary account holders of postpaid mobile and home service plans under Rogers, Fido, and Shaw brands. Accounts must be in good standing for eligibility.
For Non-Rogers Customers: If you’re using the World Elite Mastercard but are not a Rogers customer, you’ll still get 1.5% cash back on all eligible purchases. You’ll also earn 3% back on eligible purchases made in U.S. dollars while insurance coverage benefits remain unchanged.
Easy Activation: To kickstart the new benefits, simply link your World Elite Mastercard to eligible Rogers accounts using the Rogers Bank app or by contacting customer service as of April 9.
Remember, the World Elite Mastercard does not have an annual fee!
