Exciting New WhatsApp Feature: Video Forwarding and Rewinding Now Available!

WhatsApp’s latest update brings exciting new features and fixes, with a focus on enhancing user experience, especially for iOS users. One standout feature is the ability to forward and rewind a video, making it easier to navigate through videos and find specific moments.

This feature has been in testing since last year and is now available for iOS devices. While it’s unclear if the same feature is available for Android users yet, WhatsApp assures that it will be rolled out to everyone in the coming weeks.

In addition to the video playback feature, WhatsApp has introduced various improvements and bug fixes in this update. Here are some of the key updates included in the March 25 release:

– Chat options menu now visible when hovering over the chat list
– Enhanced spacing and hover states in Call History and Status
– Fixed cursor disappearance issue after clicking an emoji suggestion
– Resolved quoted message text extending outside the message problem
– Fixed duplicated messages when editing a media caption
– Improved app quitting functionality when expired
– Addressed reactions not appearing in message previews
– Fixed toolbar obscuring issue
– Ensured Cancel button visibility when forwarding media

While both iOS and Android versions were updated on the same day, it remains uncertain if Android users also have access to the new video playback feature within the app. Stay tuned for more updates as WhatsApp continues to enhance its platform for seamless communication experience.
