Latest Leak Reveals the Camera Specifications of OnePlus 12R

The OnePlus 12 has been launched in China and is expected to be released globally in early 2024, featuring specs similar to its Chinese counterpart. However, alongside the anticipated release of the OnePlus 12, the company also has the more budget-friendly OnePlus 12R up its sleeve.

According to reliable tipster Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus 12R is rumored to have a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor as its primary shooter, with an f/1.8 aperture and a 1/1.56-inch sensor. The primary sensor also features Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). In addition, it is said to have an 8MP Sony IMX355 Ultra-Wide sensor and a 32MP Sony IMX709 Telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom. The primary rear camera is also expected to support 4K 60fps video recording.

The OnePlus 12R is also rumored to feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and equipped with a 5,500mAh battery with 100W rapid charging support.

While closely resembling its premium sibling’s predecessor, the OnePlus 11, the OnePlus 12R is anticipated to have a limited ultrawide sensor and a slightly downgraded display. However, it compensates for these differences with a larger battery.

The global release of both the OnePlus 12 and the OnePlus 12R is expected next month, offering users the opportunity to confirm and experience their performance in real life. The OnePlus 12, in particular, is anticipated to make a significant impact in the smartphone landscape in 2024.
