New Smartwatch for Women by Garmin Features Hidden Display and Multiple Sensors

Garmin is primarily known for producing robust smartwatches aimed at outdoor enthusiasts. However, the company also has a family of wearable devices that cater to a different demographic. The Garmin Lily 2 is the successor to the original Lily, and the Lily 2 Classic is an upgrade over the first-gen Lily Classic.

Although Garmin claims that the Lily 2 series brings “big updates,” there are not many major changes apart from what’s immediately noticeable. The Lily 2 and Lily 2 Classic have the same 5-day battery life rating, a hidden touchscreen, and a plethora of sensors for health monitoring.

The Lily 2 smartwatches are focused on fashion and health features, making them a unique offering in the market. Currently, there isn’t much competition in the “smartwatch for women” segment, with the Fitbit Luxe tracker being the primary alternative. This makes the Lily 2 series an appealing option for female consumers.

The new smartwatches were not the only focus for Garmin at the CES 2024 trade show. The company announced updates to its Connect app and website, with the aim of providing a more simplified and personalized experience for users. The updates will focus on making it easier for users to track and achieve their health and fitness goals.

A beta version of the refreshed Garmin Connect platform is available for interested users, with the full release scheduled for later this year. The beta version may have some bugs, so users should exercise patience while testing the updated platform.
