Possible revised title: “Potential Bottom Speaker Redesign Expected for Galaxy S24 Ultra”

We anticipate that Samsung will reduce the optical zoom capabilities of the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s periscope lens from 10x to 5x. This decision is likely driven by the same reasoning that Apple gave for limiting the Tetraprism lens on the iPhone 15 Pro Max to 5x optical zoom. According to Jon McCormack, Apple’s VP of camera software engineering, the 5x zoom can be stabilized exceptionally well, making it easier to use compared to the 10x zoom, which requires steady hands or a tripod.

Another change expected for the Galaxy S24 Ultra is a modification to the design of the bottom speaker. Renowned tipster Ice Universe suggests that instead of the previous six “pill-shaped” holes, the speaker will feature a new “long strip design.” The tipster shared an illustration showcasing this new design.

However, not everyone who saw the alleged speaker design was convinced. A user named Tim expressed their skepticism, stating that past phones like the Galaxy S9 already had a similar design, which they perceived as looking cheap.

Please note that the original article contained an embedded tweet and an image illustrating the speaker design change, which have been omitted for the purposes of this rewrite.
