Uber Reveals Canada’s Top-Rated Cities for Riders

Uber recently released its annual report on rider ratings, highlighting the cities with the best-rated riders in Canada. Here are some key takeaways from the report:

– Red Deer maintains its position as the city with the highest-rated riders for the third consecutive year, scoring high marks for punctuality, politeness, organization, and respect during Uber rides.
– Windsor, Saskatoon, and Kingston have made significant improvements this year, securing spots in the top five. On the other hand, Halifax dropped two positions compared to last year.
– A new category was introduced in this year’s report to recognize cities with the most improved rider ratings. Windsor topped this list, followed by Kitchener-Waterloo and Lethbridge.
– To reward top-performing riders, Uber is offering an exclusive 20% discount on their next ride to the top 10% of riders based on their 2023 trip ratings. This promotion is valid for a two-week period.

Interestingly, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal find themselves at the bottom of the list with the lowest rider ratings according to Uber’s data analysis.

Uber suggests that riders in these cities focus on cleanliness, safety measures, punctuality, respect towards drivers and gentle handling of vehicle doors to improve their ratings.

According to Uber spokesperson: “A stellar rating is the ultimate badge of honour—it’s a testament to a rider’s efforts to always be punctual,
polite,
organized and respectful which are key factors contributing towards a smooth and positive ride experience.”
