Exciting News: Huawei P70’s Release Delayed, Featuring Groundbreaking 1-Inch Sensor for Ultra-Wide Camera

The Huawei P70, with its rumored 1-inch sensor for the ultra-wide camera, has been a hot topic of discussion lately. Originally slated for release by the end of March or early April, the launch has now been postponed until at least the end of April, according to a recent update from Digital Chat Station on Weibo.

The delay is speculated to be due to various reasons, including tightened US sanctions on China, Huawei, and the SMIC (Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp). Some sources suggest that Huawei may also be facing challenges due to their extensive lineup of products and projects, including new notebooks, headphones, smart TVs, and home products development.

Industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had previously predicted that the Huawei P70 series would feature an upgraded ultra-wide angle camera with a 1-inch sensor. This rare feature in mobile cameras promises better low-light photography capabilities and improved bokeh effects.

In terms of design, the P70 is expected to sport a quad-curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a generous 6.7-inch panel size. The series may also introduce a new processor, the Kirin 9010. Three models are anticipated in the lineup: the standard Huawei P70, the Huawei P70 Pro, and the Huawei P70 Pro Art.

With these exciting features and upgrades in store, it’s no wonder that shipments are projected to increase significantly compared to the previous Huawei P60 series. Stay tuned for more updates on this highly anticipated smartphone release from Phones Canada!
