Exclusive Launch: Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 Fitness Tracker Bypasses US Market – Phones Canada Shares Latest Telecom News

Samsung has recently introduced its latest fitness tracker, the Galaxy Fit 3, which comes with a larger screen and new features such as Fall Detection and Emergency SOS. However, it seems that the US market will not be receiving this new device.

According to a report by Android Central, Samsung has made the strategic decision not to release the Galaxy Fit 3 in the US due to the company’s evaluation of the fitness tracker landscape and current market trends. The decision was based on factors such as market size, costs of marketing, distribution, and software support.

While an official list of supported countries has not been released, it is believed that Canada and the United Kingdom will also not receive the Galaxy Fit 3. This decision aligns with Canalys’ global wearable band market report, which shows a decline in fitness band sales over the past few years.

Canalys predicts a continued shift away from basic bands towards higher mark-up wristwatch form factors, leading to a decrease in fitness band sales. On the other hand, smartwatch sales are expected to increase by 17%, reaching 82 million units.

The Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 will be available for purchase in specific regions such as Europe, Central and South America, and Asia. Stay tuned for updates on availability and pricing in these markets!
