The latest Galaxy S24 flagship series is receiving outstanding early customer reviews, surpassing the most recent iPhone series in terms of customer satisfaction. According to PerfectRec, 91% of customers gave the base model of the Galaxy S24 five stars, while 84% and 88% gave five-star ratings to the Galaxy S24 Plus and Ultra, respectively.
PerfectRec also noted that early iPhone customer reviews tend to be more negative than those left later on by buyers of the most recent iPhone models. This might be due to early adopters being discerning phone enthusiasts who may not be easily impressed by incremental improvements.
The satisfaction ratings for the Galaxy S24 series may change over time, but currently, they are leading in customer satisfaction compared to previous models. For instance, in 2022, only 61% and 74% of customers gave five-star ratings to the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra, respectively.
The trend has shown consistent improvement over the years as well. In past years, only around 68% and 72% of customers rated the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 Ultra with five stars. However, this figure has significantly increased for the latest models.
In comparison with Apple’s iPhone 15 line, the Galaxy S24 series outperformed in customer satisfaction ratings across all models. The percentage of five-star reviews for the iPhone 15 was lower compared to the ratings achieved by the Galaxy S24 series.
