iPhone 15 Series Owners Frustrated as Wi-Fi Issue Persists in iOS 17.1

Nearly two weeks ago, we reported on a Wi-Fi connectivity issue that some iPhone 15 series users were experiencing. Users have been complaining that they are unable to load content or that the loading speed is extremely slow when connected to Wi-Fi. Despite the release of the final beta version of iOS 17.1, which does not mention any Wi-Fi fixes, users are expressing their frustration on the Apple Communities website.

One user, “TG2557,” wrote, “Very disappointing that this hasn’t been corrected with the 17.1 release. I’ve given away my iPhone 13 Pro and I won’t be able to revert back to that. As someone who travels frequently, I am concerned that I won’t be able to use my brand new phone while on the road.” They go on to say that they feel their phone is useless at home, having to rely on a laptop or iPad to check the weather or emails.

Another user, “AliAmer1,” shared a similar sentiment, stating, “I have the same issue (15 pro). I tried all the suggested solutions but none of them worked. It’s ridiculous to have to upgrade your router just because you have a new phone. I hope this can be fixed through an update.”

It is unclear whether Apple is aware of the issue as they have not made any comments regarding the Wi-Fi problems. Given the numerous complaints on the community site, it is clear that this is a widespread problem that Apple needs to address promptly. While there is no mention of a fix in iOS 17.1, it is possible that Apple may release iOS 17.1.1 to address this issue.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available. Stay tuned for further developments on this matter.
