Skype’s New Audio Transcription Feature: Say Goodbye to Voice Messages and Hello to Text!

Skype Introduces Audio Transcription Feature

Do you often find yourself in noisy environments or have difficulty hearing? Or maybe you just don’t have the time to listen to long voice messages. If so, Skype has some great news for you! The popular chat platform has announced a new Audio Transcription feature that converts voice messages into text for improved clarity and accessibility.

With the latest Insider build (8.113) of Skype, users can now easily activate transcription with a simple tap. This feature allows users to see both the audio waveform and the text simultaneously, making it easier to understand and communicate with others, especially for those with hearing impairments.

Skype’s commitment to inclusivity shines through with this new feature, as it makes audio messages accessible to everyone. Additionally, Skype has introduced a top menu selector for easier navigation between reaction categories, eliminating the need for extensive scrolling. This user-friendly design features readily accessible favorite reactions and expands the emoticon library with more options for expressive communication.

These exciting features are currently available in the Insider build and are expected to be released to the broader user base in the near future. Say goodbye to endless scrolling and hello to improved accessibility and ease of use with Skype’s latest updates!
