Speak Up, Pixel Users: Share Your Android 15 Beta Feedback with Google!

Are you curious about trying out the latest Android 15 beta on your compatible Pixel phone? Let’s discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this move, as well as how you can easily install it on your Pixel device. It’s important to note that only certain Pixel models can update to Android 15 this year, including the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, and Pixel 8 Pro.

Google recently released Android 15 Beta 1 on April 11th. If you’ve already installed it, Google is looking for feedback through its Android 15 Beta 1 Software Survey. This quick survey will only take about 5 to10 minutes of your time. Make sure you are running version AP31.240322.018 by checking in Settings > About Phone.

During the survey, you’ll need to share details like your Pixel model, country of residence, and wireless carrier. You’ll also be asked to rate your experience with the stability, battery life, performance, device temperature, call quality, and other features since installing Android 15 beta 1.

If you decide to join the beta program and install Android 15 beta 1 on your Pixel device, remember to back up your data first. Beta software can be unstable and may cause certain features to not function correctly. Battery life could also be impacted. If you’re not prepared for these potential issues until the final version of Android 15 is released in September or October, it might be best to wait.

To opt-in for the beta program and install Android 15 beta on your Pixel device:
– Visit google.com/android/beta or tap on this link.
– Click “View your eligible devices” and select your specific model.
– Tap “Opt-in” at the bottom of the page and follow the instructions.
– Check for software updates in Settings > System > Software update after a few minutes to install the beta version.

Remember that participating in a beta program comes with risks but can also provide insights into upcoming features and improvements. If you’re willing to take a chance and provide valuable feedback to Google about Android 15 beta 1 on your Pixel device, now is the time to get involved!
