Unveiling the Dominant Chipset for Sony Xperia 10 VI: Benchmark Results Out!

The latest Geekbench test results have revealed some exciting details about the upcoming Sony Xperia 10 VI smartphone. Here are some key highlights:

– The Xperia 10 VI will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, codenamed parrot, a significant upgrade from last year’s Snapdragon 695 chipset.
– The phone is expected to come with 8GB of RAM, ensuring smooth performance for multitasking and gaming.
– Rumors suggest that Sony may remove the telephoto lens from the handset, which previously offered 2x optical zoom. Recent renders show only two rear cameras on the model.
– The FCC has already certified the device, which will be available in Black, White, and Powder Blue color options.

The Geekbench test also revealed impressive performance scores for the Xperia 10 VI:
– Single-core score: 934
– Multi-core score: 2816
– The model number of the phone is XQ-ES72, and it will run Android 14 out of the box.
– Last year’s model featured a robust 5000mAh battery for long-lasting usage.

Despite Sony’s consistent efforts to create competitive smartphones every year, its market share remains at just .35%. While Sony does have dedicated fans, it faces challenges in making its smartphone division profitable. However, with new announcements on the horizon for Xperia New Product Day on May 15th, we can expect more details on configurations, pricing, and availability of the Xperia 10 VI. Stay tuned for updates!
