Disney+ Cracks Down on Password Sharing in the US: What It Means for Telecommunications Users

Disney+ has announced that it will be implementing limitations on sharing account credentials, similar to Netflix’s recent changes. The streaming service has updated its terms of service and is sending out emails to subscribers to inform them about the upcoming changes.

If you’re a new customer, these changes will affect you right away. Existing customers will also receive an email detailing the new limitations.

Here’s a snippet from the official email: “We’re adding limitations on sharing your account outside of your household and explaining how we may assess your compliance with these limitations.”

While Disney+ hasn’t provided specifics on how they plan to enforce these limitations, they have clarified what constitutes a “household.”

It’s important for subscribers to be aware of these upcoming changes and understand how it may impact their viewing experience. Stay tuned for more updates from Disney+ as they continue to roll out these adjustments.
