Google’s Missed Opportunity: Unveiling the Pixel 9 Could Have Made Telecom History!

Google has just announced that the annual I/O conference will begin on May 14, where we may catch a glimpse of the budget-friendly Pixel 8a. The highly anticipated flagship phone, the Pixel 9, is expected to be launched in October. While many were hoping for a teaser today, unfortunately, Google did not drop any hints.

If you’re in the market for a new phone, you’re probably curious about the expected price. Tech enthusiasts are likely more interested in the phone’s specs. However, if you’re a math fanatic, you might have been looking forward to a March 14 teaser.

It was a bit of a letdown for math nerds and Pixel fans alike on Pi Day (March 14), as Google missed an opportunity to celebrate this special day by teasing the Pixel 9 announcement. Traditionally, Google has used its phones to represent the starting digits of pi (3.14) on Pi Day. This year, they spelled out the first eight digits but used an inverted Pixel 6 instead of showcasing the Pixel 9 as the sixth digit.

While Google may have wanted to maintain some mystery around the Pixel 9, we already have a good idea of what these phones will look like. Nevertheless, nothing is truly official until it’s officially announced.

This missed opportunity could have been epic as future Pixel phones will move into double digits soon, making it challenging for Google to spell out pi’s digits using new models in the future. Let’s wait and see what surprises Google has in store for us at their upcoming events!
