WhatsApp has been testing several new features recently, and one of the most exciting ones is the ability to pin multiple messages within a chat. This feature was first spotted in a beta version of the app, and we even reported on it just a week ago. It’s impressive how quickly WhatsApp has made it available to all users.
With the latest version of WhatsApp, you can now pin up to three messages per chat, whether it’s a group conversation or an individual chat. Here’s how you can pin multiple messages:
– Open a WhatsApp conversation
– Long press on the message you want to pin
– Select “Pin” from the context menu
– Choose how long you want to pin the message for – 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days
Group chat admins also have the power to decide whether all members can pin messages or if only admins have that privilege. And don’t worry about privacy – all pinned messages are kept secure thanks to WhatsApp’s end-to-end encryption.
