Revitalize Your iPhone 15 Pro Max: The Impact of Removing the Case on Your Device’s Performance

When I first got my hands on the original iPhone back in 2007, I never bothered with a case. As I upgraded to different models like the BlackBerry Storm, Motorola DROID series, and HTC One (M8), I didn’t see the need for a case as I was careful with my devices. However, when I got the Pixel 2 XL in 2018, I decided it was time to invest in some protection. The black/white “Panda” model looked great without a case, but the protection it offered was worth it.

Transitioning to the iPhone 11 Pro Max in early 2020, I splurged on a premium case from a well-known manufacturer. The $70 investment paid off when I traded in my phone for the iPhone 15 Pro Max after three years, and it was still in excellent condition. But pricey cases aren’t always necessary – I had similar success with $15 cases on my Pixel phones.

Recently, I decided to test how the iPhone 15 Pro Max felt without its FineWoven Apple case. The difference was remarkable – without the case, you truly appreciate how sleek and thin the phone is. It feels fantastic in hand without any added bulk.

While dropping your phone is always a concern when going caseless, Apple’s “Relax, it’s iPhone” slogan reassures users of its durability. Their ads showcase iPhones enduring spills and drops with ease, thanks to features like ceramic shield glass.

For now, my naked iPhone 15 Pro Max feels refreshing and new. But knowing my tendencies when it comes to accidental drops, I anticipate reverting back to using a case eventually for peace of mind. Going without a case gives your phone a fresh feel but also exposes it to potential damage – have you tried going caseless? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
